Some friendships are convenient. Some friendships are conditional. Some friendships are superficial. Some friendships are awkward. Some friendships are complicated. Some friendships are one-sided. Some friendships are forced. Some friendships are fleeting.
But if you’re lucky enough to have a friendship that is true, just simply true, then you are blessed. And I am blessed indeed.

Very well said. It’s especially difficult when you’re new to town and trying to forge new friendships. Cultivating them takes time. It can be hard to “fit in” when you’re new. I still feel new to this town, but I finally feel like I’m making friends. But what you said about true friends, now that’s something I’m still working on. Thanks for posting this.
